Middle of the 14th. 4-3 Red Sox, but the Angels would tie it up again in the bottom half.

  • 40,000+ in attendance toward the beginning.  Top of the 2nd or 3rd here.
  • Middle of the 5th.  2-0 Angels.
  • Daniel Nava in right field.  Bottom of the 5th.
  • Early in extra innings.  Brock Holt now in right, Jackie Bradley Jr. takes over for him in center.
  • Middle of the 14th.  4-3 Red Sox, but the Angels would tie it up again in the bottom half.
  • Middle of the 15th.  4-4.
  • Middle of the 16th.  Still 4-4.
  • Crowd noticeably thinner in the 16th.
  • Middle of the 17th.  4-4.
  • Not too many people left toward the end.
  • Middle of the 19th.  4-4, but the Angels would win it in the bottom half.
  • Bottom of the 19th.
  • Angels fans and team celebrating Pujols' walk-off solo home run in the bottom of the 19th, 6 hours 31 minutes after the game started.  Red Sox fans (myself included) were probably simply happy that the game was over.
